The Beckett Celtic & Ceilidh Band

The only party band we’ve ever found that brilliantly combines traditional Celtic music with classic and current dance music and plays it all with great joie de vivre.    A unique band perfect for wedding entertainment (where their variety of music will delight your guests), as well as parties, big and small, from village halls to palaces.  They are happy to provide early evening mood music, followed by a ceilidh set and end the night with popular music for all ages.  If you just want a ceilidh, The Beckett Band can play that all night long!

The line-up includes: guitar/vocals, violin, bass, accordion/piano, drums/Irish drums.  A caller is also available to assist guests during the dancing.  Their repertoire is extensive and eclectic, and requests can usually be accommodated with sufficient notice.

Great for weddings, corporate events, festivals, birthdays, balls, street parties, banquets, ceilidhs and barn dances.  Available with dancers and caller if required.

Previous appearances include:  The Savoy Hotel, London - Goldsmiths Hall, London - Alexandra Palace - Cheltenham Racecourse - Kilshane House, Ireland - Glastonbury - Buckinghamshire University - Ballyhannon Castle, Co Clare, Ireland - Icomb Place Ballroom, Gloucestershire - Blenheim Palace - Eltham Palace, London - Kenwood House, London.

Testimonials:

"...such fabulous music at our party last Sunday...perfect for the occasion with guests ranging from 3 months to 90 years old!  We were very, very happy with the music, getting lots of people on the dance floor and having fun.  We had nothing but positive comments from our guests."  Jill & Peter

"They were really fantastic all evening.  The dance floor was packed all night and they judged the pace of the evening perfectly.  The requests we made went down well and everyone had a great laugh.  A number of guests have complimented us on the band and asked (for) their details."  Paul & Maria
